Vanessa Robinson
Age: 17

Vanessa was relatively free from interactions with Cord throughout most of her high school life. Sure, he took snapshots and recorded videos of her from afar and might have stolen a few things from her locker to rub all over his body while in the privacy of the girls’ bathroom, but for the most part, she was blissfully unaware of Mr. Samson's lecherous antics. As one of the most outgoing people at school, Vanessa serves on the student council, volunteers in her community, and is well-liked and admired by nearly every group of students at school, from the in-crowders to the burn-outs to the geeks, without ever claiming true friendship or loyalty to one group over another. She hasn’t really had time to get to know anyone on a close-friend basis -- not since her most treasured childhood friendship went awry some years ago. Most of her efforts are put into becoming an active, commendable young woman, a pillar of the community. While she certainly cares about helping her city thrive, she has to admit to herself – and only herself – that the driving force behind her positive behavior is the attention and praise that comes with it. Few are aware of this potential flaw in Vanessa's seemingly perfect personality.

Those who do see a less-than-ideal side of Vanessa are such reviled social outcasts that she feels no one would take their word over hers. Surely no one would blame her for confronting, insulting, and degrading the likes of Cord Samson, would they? Regrettably for her, the more attention Cord receives from a woman – it doesn’t matter what kind – the more he feels he has a chance to score with her. He’s particularly drawn to the fact that such a well-liked, socially successful girl would give him the time of day – not that he ever doubted such a girl would, of course, but he had yet to actually see one interact with him while still enthroned in “popular” status. Deep down, he always knew Vanessa’s secret fantasies involved him, some whipped cream, and a vibrating bed. Vanessa is expectedly appalled by Cord’s sexist, perverse, and racially-insensitive ways, but there’s only so much aggression she can take out on him without damaging her reputation. Thus, she spreads out her anger little-by-little to the people she believes to be Cord’s friends: Skyler (rightfully so), Susan, and Alicia, the social outcasts among social outcasts at their school. Susan and Alicia, of course, don’t take this lightly...
